SNAAP’s mission is to survey art and design school alumni and interpret those data for the purpose of improving student and graduate success among colleges of visual and performing arts, design, architecture and film. SNAAP’s mission is also to “drive evidence-informed change” in those schools and programs, for the benefit of students and for the cultural life and economic prosperity of the nation.
The SNAAP Forum will investigate and discuss policy issues of importance to post-secondary arts and design schools.
Submissions
Submissions to the forum are by invitation. Replies are welcome and may be sent to forum@snaaparts.org, but will be edited for brevity and appropriateness.

The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Arts and Design Alumni
The authors of this report, Dr. Rachel Skaggs, Dr. Jennifer L. Novak-Leonard and Dr. Jeff Barbee, provide insight into arts and design graduates whose work is — or before the pandemic was — in the arts, design, or creative realm by examining their working lives, economic lives, and the skills that they needed to attain or update during the first two years of the pandemic in the United States.
