Mase Kerwick is a communications strategist and operations professional with over 10 years of experience developing strategic campaigns for nonprofits, advocacy organizations, and major brands. As SNAAP’s Communications and Operations Manager, he leads the organization’s communications strategy, manages key operations, and supports relationship-building with participating institutions.

Mase has managed high-stakes communications campaigns for organizations including Dell Technologies, McGarrah Jessee, and the Beto for Texas Senate campaign. His experience spans strategic planning, brand development, digital content creation, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement. He’s excited to bring these skills to SNAAP’s mission of maximizing the success and impact of creatives in society.

A working artist himself, Mase is a performing comedian and the creator of Queertowne, Central Texas’ longest-running queer comedy platform and three-time Austin Chronicle Best of Austin nominee. He’s performed at SF Sketchfest, Dallas Comedy Fest, and Austin Sketch Fest, among others. This dual perspective as both communications professional and practicing artist gives him unique insight into the creative community SNAAP serves.

Mase holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri and is based in his hometown of Austin, Texas.
